Whereas , we believe in God as a Holy Trinity and the Lord Jesus Christ as the incarnation of God in man and His supreme authority over all things created (Matt. 28:18), the primary purpose for which New Covenant Baptist Church was established is to serve God in accordance with His word, the Bible as the supreme standard to which all human conduct, church affairs, creeds, and opinions should voluntarily submit. We therefore may summarize the purpose of New Covenant Baptist Church by what we call the Great Commission as follows:

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (Matthew 28:18-20)
More Specifically, our purpose is to implement this commission by the evangelistic proclamation and persuasion of the Gospel, the teaching of all the associated truth of the Bible, and the support of ministries and missionaries to that end. We further purpose to exemplify, to the best of our ability, the righteousness of our Lord Jesus Christ in all our affairs, to walk in Christian love and Kindness, to be just in all our dealing, trustworthy in word and deed, mindful to contribute to relief of the needy and infirm, careful to avoid immorality and ready to help those who have been caught in its snare.

Moreover, as citizens of our community and within the broader culture of our country, we purpose to humbly submit to the civil authorities and ordinances of government in all compatible with God's will as determined by the Bible, and to promote peace, safety and prosperity by advocating and implementing godliness in every aspect of life.
